Makki Masjid has set in place dedicated rules of parking and arrival to ensure that all students can arrive at school safely. Please read these guidelines clearly and carefully. Follow them to avoid any problems or conflicts.

  • Please enter the Masjid/school grounds from the south entrance only (see image above).
  • Please exit right from the north entrance only (see image below). LEFT TURNS ARE NOT PERMITTED. They have been verified by the City of Brampton to cause accidents on fast-moving, busy streets such as Torbram.
  • Drive slowly and carefully when on the Masjid premises. Refrain from rushing or speeding, as you will likely hit and injure adults and children in the process. 
  • Regardless of the circumstances, please do not block traffic. Do not use the lanes of Torbram Road as a pickup/dropoff point. Enter the Masjid/school grounds from the south entrance instead, as instructed.
  • Regardless of personal time constraints, parents are not permitted to remove their child from class at any given time, nor to wait inside the school building. Students will leave school at the appointed time of 3:30 PM (or 11:45 AM on Fridays), and can be picked up at that time. Slight time exemptions within 5-10 minutes are permissible though, as are emergency situations. Please speak with the principal or vice principal first.
  • MAKKI MASJID AND MILC WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THE INJURY OF ANY CHILD AND/OR DAMAGES TO ANY VEHICLES ON THE PROPERTY. YOU ARE AT YOUR OWN RISK AND HAVE INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF YOURSELF, YOUR CHILD, YOUR VEHICLE, AND OTHERS ON THE MASJID AND SCHOOL PREMISES.
