For some student work (such as researching for a reference article), usage of a computer is required. MILC has several computers in the school library for this purpose.
Rules of Computer Usage
- One student per computer.
- If a group project is being done, then only two students are allowed per computer to work together.
- Students must be under teacher’s supervision.
- No web surfing is allowed besides researching relation to the subject of the class project.
- Students are to treat the school’s computers with respect and care. Keep the keyboard, mouse, and monitor clean and free of dirt, scuff marks, or scratches.
- If a computer isn’t functioning properly, a student is to ask a teacher for help.
- No cables are to be unplugged/removed.
- Only teachers and administrators are allowed to install software or web browser extensions.
