Science plays a vital role in the lives of many of us, often in ways we may not initially percieve. From pharmecutical products (cough syrup and lozenges) to the treatment of clean water and the very spaces used for living and working in our everyday lives. Through learning and understanding science and technology across all fields – biology, physics, and physical – students are able to gain a solid foundation from which to utilize and apply methods and strategies in real-life scenarios.
They are able to read reports about science and scientific technology and understand and explain specific terms with ease, critically evaluate information and data, as well as confidently engage in discussions and group projects relating to science and scientific technology.
MILC’s science curriculum aims to provide students with opportunities to achieve a good degree of scientific and technological literacy while maintaining a sense of wonder and investigation about the world around them from a scientific and technological perspective.
