Every school day, teachers at MILC gather students into several groups to recite and memorize the Quran. Each group is watched over and monitored to ensure all are recting properly and are recieving necessary assistance to properly pronounce and understand the Arabic letters and words.
The Quranic classes are broken down into five different levels:
- Qa’ida – Understanding of Arabic letters and phrase construction
- Amma Para
- Punj Para
- Quranic Memorization – short, basic surahs
- Word-to-Word Arabic translation
For the Academic (Day School) learning section, Quranic studies are held after Zuhur Salat from Monday to Thursday from 1:20 pm to 3:30 pm. No classes are held on Fridays.
For the Hifz learning section, Quranic studies are held after Zuhur Salat from Monday to Thursday from 8:15 am to 1:20 pm, and from 8:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. on Fridays.
